According to customs statistics of the General Administration of Customs of China, from January to April 2020, the total value of my country ’s imports and exports of goods trade was 9.07 trillion yuan, a decrease of 4.9% compared with the same period last year (the same below), and the decrease was 1.5 percentage points lower than that of the first quarter. Among them, the export value was 4.74 trillion yuan, down 6.4% year-on-year; the import value was 4.33 trillion yuan, down 3.2% year-on-year.

In terms of data from exporting regions, my country's imports and exports to ASEAN and countries along the “Belt and Road” increased from January to April, while imports and exports to the EU, the United States and Japan declined. ASEAN is my largest trading partner. From January to April, the total trade value between my country and ASEAN was 1.35 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%, accounting for 14.9% of my country's total foreign trade value. The EU is my country's second largest trading partner, with a total trade value of 1.23 trillion yuan, down 6.5% year-on-year, and accounting for 13.6% of my country's total foreign trade value. The United States is my country's third largest trading partner. The total value of Sino-US trade is 958.46 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 12.8%, accounting for 10.6% of my country's total foreign trade value. Japan is my fourth largest trading partner. The total value of Sino-Japanese trade is 665.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%, accounting for 7.3% of my country ’s total foreign trade.
